Homeless Aid

Reading about the county’s use of funds earmarked for social services to support litigation against representatives of the homeless so reminds me of President Reagan’s conversion of the “War on Poverty” to a “War Against the Poor” that I had to look at my calendar to reassure myself that the year was 1989 rather than 1982.

I would respectfully suggest that those supervisors supporting this misappropriation of public funds voluntarily forgo their salaries and other income so that they can learn firsthand about the joys of homelessness.
