Jaguar Confirms GM’s Interest in Company: British luxury car maker Jaguar PLC reported that General Motors Corp. may buy a small stake in the company and is exploring joint projects. Industry analysts said GM, the world’s biggest auto maker, may be aiming to thwart stake-building in Jaguar by its main rival--Ford Motor Co. Jaguar said in a statement that it is discussing with GM the possibility of “entering into certain manufacturing, marketing and other commercial joint venture arrangements.
