Blum has been named vice chairman and director of marketing and merchandise direction, effective Feb. 1, 1990, at Ann Taylor Inc., a women’s clothing store chain with headquarters in New York. Blum was executive vice president and director of marketing and research for Lord & Taylor and remains as a consultant until Jan. 1.
