Prescott’s and Kelly’s Presence on City Council
The tacked-up flag behind the three Tustin City Council “veterans” (photograph with the story, “Troubles in Tustin,” Oct. 1) was a real tacky misuse of the American flag.
The real issue, which you just touched on in the article, is the $1-million welfare developer handout given by the three vets. Who really is in control of Tustin: the big developers with their cycloplike drones featured in The Times, or council members John Kelly and Earl J. Prescott, who really do represent the poor ol’ taxpayer, me.
