Trio-Tech International Posts Loss of $1.6 Million

Trio-Tech International, a San Fernando manufacturer of semiconductor testing equipment, reported a loss of $1.6 million for its fiscal fourth quarter that ended June 30.
The loss, which contrasted with a year-earlier profit of $49,000, came on a 21% decline in revenue, to $3.37 million from $4.39 million.
For its full fiscal year, Trio-Tech lost $2.51 million, compared to a $154,000 loss the previous year. Its annual revenue slipped to $16.2 million from $16.6 million.
