NCR Corp.: The Dayton, Ohio, maker of business information processing systems said third-quarter earnings were $93.1 million, down almost 10% from a year ago. Revenue was $1.4 billion, about the same as its record level last year. The company blamed the reduced earnings in part on its repurchase of 2.7 million shares of common stock.
