Peres Hospitalized

JERUSALEM —
Israeli Finance Minister Shimon Peres was admitted to a hospital Tuesday suffering from a urinary tract infection, but doctors said he will probably be released after 48 hours of observation. A former prime minister, Peres leads the center-left Labor Party, the leading partner in Israel’s Likud-Labor coalition government.
