A New Life for Old Bricks

Share

The Gordon Hotel on 7th Avenue in San Diego is no more, but bits of it are destined to live on in future barbecue pits, planters and walls, thanks to the demand for used or so-called “antique” bricks. The recycled bricks sell for about 49 cents each, compared to 21 cents each for “basic red” bricks.
