Measure N and the Rights of Homosexuals

Share

Regarding the Rev. Louis Sheldon’s letter (Oct. 15): The amazing thing about Sheldon’s tunnel vision is that he sees only biological acts, none of the love and caring within the gay life style and none of the pain of widespread homophobic discrimination.

Does this man really think he represents Jesus, totally lacking as he seems in compassion? I don’t recall Jesus really condemning anyone but hypocrites. Jesus did say, “Go, sin no more,” but that was to a heterosexual, wasn’t it? The greatest sin (and cause for judgment, Matthew 25) is against love.

Sheldon needs to read the whole Gospel, not just feverishly selected passages.
