Fire Under Control in Spanish A-Power Plant

TARRAGONA, Spain —
Firefighters brought under control a blaze which broke out overnight at a nuclear power plant in eastern Spain, local officials said Friday.
The fire at the Vandellos plant near Tarragona affected only the electrical part of the station, Gov. Ramon Sanchez Ramon said, adding that the nuclear station was automatically turned off.
