Realty Firm Starts 24-Hour Service

Overlake Realty Inc. in Bellevue, Wash., is staying open 24 hours a day Monday through Friday to meet the demand for service from people who want to relocate to the Pacific Northwest and must do business outside the usual workday.
Real estate consultant Joe Kennedy, who was a land research consultant for Knowles-Avery Land Co. of La Jolla, devised the strategy to give Overlake an edge in serving clients who can’t change their schedules to accommodate realtors who normally work primarily during the day. The office will remain open at its regular time, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on weekends.
