Barbara Ness has been appointed development director of the Orange County High School of the Arts Foundation, officials announced Wednesday. Her duties will include overseeing public relations, board development and fund-raising efforts. Ness was a founder and general manager of the Garden Grove Symphony from 1985 until June (1989). Additionally, seven new members were elected to the foundation’s board of directors, bringing the total to 15.
