Scantron Corp. of Tustin, a subsidiary of John H. Harland Co., has won a patent infringement suit against Associated Business Products of Santa Rosa. The suit, filed March 3 in U.S. District Court in San Francisco, charged that ABP improperly used Scantron’s optical scanner devices. The court entered a consent judgment in Scantron’s favor that permanently restrains Associated Business Products from any further unauthorized use, printing or sale of Scantron’s patented forms.
