LUNAR RETURN: Man may yet return to the moon, according to Douglas Nash, head of the San Juan Capistrano Research Institute and former mayor of the city. . . . A NASA scientific advisory group came to the institute late last week to discuss a possible unmanned lunar mission that “could set the stage for a manned return to the moon,” Nash said, before NASA officials asked him to say no more.
