Garvey has certainly made many mistakes and errors in judgement in his relationships with the women in his life, including his daughters. But Cynthia is certainly not helping their daughters by engendering the kind of hatred for their father that she has. Those girls will be carrying that hatred for many years to come and it can only hinder their future relationships.
