Dataproducts Opposes Bid: Dataproducts Corp. urged its stockholders to reject a $10-a-share tender offer from an investor group, DPC Acquisition Partners. The Woodland Hills-based maker of computer printers termed the $190-million bid as “highly speculative” because DPC has yet to raise financing. If DPC obtains the necessary cash, Dataproducts said it would not oppose the offer. DPC, meanwhile, is also trying to get shareholder consent to oust Dataproducts’ directors.
