Arthur Fletcher, Rights Figure, Leaves Hospital

YAKIMA, Wash. —
Arthur A. Fletcher, President Bush’s apparent choice to head the Civil Rights Commission, was discharged Sunday from the hospital more than two weeks after suffering a heart attack, according to a hospital spokeswoman. Fletcher, 64, was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center following the heart attack Nov. 3. He underwent triple-bypass heart surgery last week.
