General Dynamics Claims False Charges: General Dynamics sued the U.S. government in federal court in Los Angeles on Tuesday for $29.2 million, claiming that the company was falsely charged with defense fraud because federal auditors misinterpreted billings for an anti-aircraft gun. The company claims government auditors negligently misinterpreted its Army contract. (Filed Nov. 21, 1989, Case No. CV-89-6762 JGD)
