CYPRESS : City Council Boosts Pay by $21 a Month
The City Council has voted unanimously to give itself a raise, boosting monthly salaries from $420 to $441.
The raise, approved Monday night, is in accordance with state law allowing the council a 5% cost-of-living adjustment each year, said City Atty. Jerry Patterson.
In other action, the council gave General Mills Restaurants permission to build an Olive Garden restaurant in Cypress Fashion Plaza at 6674 Katella Ave. The Italian restaurant will be at the site of the former Fuddruckers Restaurant.
