Night Deliveries at Grocery Stores
Evidently, Allumbaugh has never lived in close proximity to one of his store’s loading docks and been kept awake by late night and early morning deliveries!
Our rear property line is about 50 feet from one of Ralphs loading docks. For years we fought to have deliveries made between the hours of 7 a.m. and noon. What a blessing to have this store declared a curfew store and to be able to enjoy a decent night’s sleep!
We are certain that other people have had this same problem, which seems to have been given no thought or consideration by planners.
We feel that the stores which are close to residences should be considered curfew stores and deliveries made between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
