Contel, Telos Reach New Agreement: Telos Corp. and Contel Corp. said they have reached a $64-million merger agreement under which Telos will be acquired by Contel’s Federal Systems Inc. unit. All the common shares of Santa Monica-based Telos, which makes software for the aerospace and defense industries, will be purchased for $15.50 a share, pending approval of Telos shareholders. The firms said last month that they would revise an Oct. 10 agreement, calling for a price of $16 a share.
