Sweatshop Products

The articles on the “sweatshop” exploiters is reminiscent of another time when garment workers in New York City, also new immigrants, were also exploited until the unions stepped in. Now manufacturers either pay low wages in foreign countries or do the same kind of thing here in this country.

Perhaps if people knew who these manufacturers were, caring people would “boycott” their labels. Maybe consumers could be educated if lists of those manufacturers were published. I certainly will not buy an En Chanse product. Knowing how it was made would spoil the article for me.
