The government Friday recalled more than 100,000 models of a children’s play set because it contains small parts that may present a choking hazard to young children.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said that the manufacturer has agreed to replace three components of the plastic “Play to Learn” furniture set, model 1411, made by JA-RU Inc. of Jacksonville, Fla. The agency said two play figures--a girl and a boy--and a plastic lounge chair included in the set are so small that they could be swallowed by young children, causing them to choke.
