Coming Home to Roost
The chickens are coming home to roost! The architects have been getting away with sketches instead of real drawings, notes in lieu of calculations, escape clauses “any error is the fault of the contractor,” etc. “Architects Are Drawing Lawsuits for Malpractice” (Nov. 5).
One contractor was even found guilty of a skinny column collapse because he should have seen it was too weak!
