Share

In an effort to ensure that Latinos, Armenian-Americans, Asian-Americans, blacks, senior citizens, undocumented immigrants, and low-income and homeless people are counted in the 1990 U.S. Census, the Mayor’s Complete Count Committee was awarded $45,000 Tuesday by the city Board of Directors.

The committee will spend the money on alerting members of the groups about the census via fliers, direct mail, utility bill inserts, banners, brochures and public service announcements.
