Charles W. Hayes III has resigned as president and chief executive of Vision Sciences Inc., a Monrovia company that produces equipment for casting eyeglass lenses. The company said he has resigned to pursue other interests. Gerry Keahl, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Ioptex of Irwindale, will succeed Hayes.
