Spanish Leftists Suspected in Killing of Guardsmen

GIJON, Spain —
Two Civil Guardsmen were killed in a machine-gun attack by suspected leftists in the northern Spanish city of Gijon on Thursday, police said.
Police said they suspected the leftist group GRAPO (October 1st Anti-Fascist Resistance Groups), which Wednesday claimed responsibility for separate attacks on two army officers two weeks ago.
