BYE-BYE BIG BOY? The Marriott Corp.’s decision to sell off Bob’s Big Boy restaurants is “troubling,” according to Robert C. Wian, the chain’s namesake and founder, now retired and living in Newport Beach. . . . Worse yet, as the coffee shops remodel, those larger-than-life statues out front of the pudgy kid with the pompadour and checkerboard overalls--may also be on the way out . . . “They’ve been a pain in the butt to keep from being stolen,” said Marriott spokesman Rick Sneed.
