Blackout Closes Airport

DETROIT —
A worn-out cable caused a blackout at City Airport, forcing officials to close the facility and divert at least two flights to the much larger Detroit Metropolitan Airport, officials said. The airport temporarily had no radio or navigational equipment working Thursday night.
