Would someone please take Mr. Christon’s thesaurus away? I appreciate his extensive vocabulary, but it becomes tiresome having to look up words such as acedia , mediagenic or pusillanimity , to name just a few.

How about “. . . where Charlie Sheen’s moral opprobrium seemed petulant and schoolmarmish in the face of Michael Douglas’ buccaneer panache”? Whew!! And I thought “Moby Dick” was exacting.
