NATION IN BRIEF : TEXAS : Divers’ Chamber May Aid Migraines

Some migraine sufferers may find relief in pressure chambers used to treat scuba divers with decompression sickness, researchers said. William Fife, a professor at Texas A&M; University at College Station, said his team has used high-pressure oxygen to treat more than 50 people with migraine headaches and all but three of them gained complete relief. Breathing hyperbaric oxygen may reduce swollen blood vessels.
