Moscow Asks, Walesa Accepts the Invitation

GDANSK, Poland —
Solidarity founder Lech Walesa said today he has accepted an invitation to visit Moscow and said he is “destined” to meet with Soviet leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev.
The invitation was conveyed by the Soviet ambassador to Poland, Vladimir Brovikov, who met with the labor leader for 90 minutes in Gdansk, Solidarity’s birthplace. A date for the visit was not announced.
