49er Fans Get Last Laugh at Columnists

During the week before the game between the 49ers and Rams, much was made about the similarities between the current Rams and the Chargers of the early ‘80s. After all, Ernie Zampese was now the Rams’ offensive coordinator, Pete Holohan and Buford McGee, ex-Chargers, were instrumental parts of the Rams’ offense, and Jim Everett was being favorably compared to Dan Fouts. Unfortunately for the Rams, there was yet another similarity between them and the Chargers of old, and that was their performance in the “big game.”
