In “The Long Crusade,” there are some false statements that are presented as fact: “. . . skinheads, young thugs who shave their skulls” and “skinheads strut about in heavy boots . . . and they sometimes carry clubs.” It is this ridiculously ignorant stereotype that causes prejudice and provokes attacks on the youth of today who wear close-cropped hair.

I suggest you do some real research to find out what a true skinhead is and stands for. No, I’m not a skinhead, just a kid that is sick of media misinterpretation of modern youth. Personally, I wear my hair long so I guess that makes me a drug-crazed hippie.
