Hunger Strike in Spain

MADRID —
Forty of 51 Spanish guerrilla detainees on a hunger strike of up to 55 days are now in a hospital, and seven are in serious condition, the Justice Ministry said Tuesday. The detainees are fasting to protest being scattered throughout the country’s prisons.
