A ladle containing more than 100 tons of molten steel crashed to the floor at a new mill, scattering 2,850-degree metal and injuring six workers, at least one seriously, authorities said.

About 35 firefighters used extinguishers to put out burning debris, including bags, crates, boxes and other packing materials.
