30 Dead, 27 Missing in Tunisian Floods

TUNIS, Tunisia —
Floods in southern Tunisia have killed at least 30 people and caused damage of more than $200 million, the official news agency TAP said Saturday.
It said 27 people are missing after the floods, caused by five days of torrential rain. The floods are thought to have destroyed 13,000 homes, damaged another 23,000 and swept away at least 14,000 head of livestock.
