World IN BRIEF : NORTHERN IRELAND : Bomb Kills Youth in Botched Attack

A bomb exploded prematurely in Londonderry, killing a teen-ager and injuring eight other people during a march in a Roman Catholic area marking the 18th anniversary of “Bloody Sunday.” The Irish Republican Army, fighting to oust Britain from Northern Ireland, said it was responsible for the botched attack and expressed its regrets.
