Hyundai Hires Nissan’s Infiniti PR Director

Hyundai Motor America has snagged the man who oversaw public relations for Nissan’s Infiniti) luxury car line for the past year to head its own public relations effort.

Bill Wolf, who spent 10 years with Mazda in public affairs and as manager of public relations before joining Nissan in 1988, will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating Hyundai’s public relations programs. Hyundai recently moved its headquarters from Garden Grove to the former ITT Canon plant here.

He will report directly to Rod Hayden, the South Korean car importer’s newly appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer. Hayden is a former Mazda executive.
