Treasury Announces Auction: The government plans to borrow $30 billion next week at its quarterly debt auctions, the Treasury Department announced. The auctions will include $10 billion in three-year notes in minimum denominations of $5,000, set for Tuesday; $10 billion in 10-year notes in minimum denominations of $1,000, set for Wednesday, and $10 billion in 30-year bonds in minimum denominations of $1,000, set for Thursday. Tenders must be received by 1 p.m. EST on the day of auction at the Treasury or at Federal Reserve banks or branches.
