The Solana Beach Collection, 10 luxury single-family houses by Pacific Scene, opens today in the northern San Diego County coastal community of Solana Beach.

The four- and five-bedroom houses are offered in three floor plans ranging from 2,805 to 3,258 square feet. They are priced from $525,000 to $595,000, and September move-ins are planned.

Designed by Lorimer-Case, a San Diego architectural firm, the houses are on half-acre lots on a hillside parcel along Marine View Avenue, east of the San Diego (5) Freeway. Several houses will feature views of the Pacific Ocean and the Del Mar race track.

The sales office is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily except Wednesday and Thursday at Marine View Avenue and Los Caballitos, reached from the eastbound Lomas Santa Fe Drive exit of the San Diego (5) Freeway.

Five-Bedroom Houses

Galloping Hill at Gordon Ranch, a 136-unit single-family development by D.T. Smith Inc. Homes, opens today in the Chino Hills area of southwestern San Bernardino County.

The first phase has 40 three- to five-bedroom houses with 2 1/2 or 3 baths and 2,200 to 2,650 square feet in four two-story floor plans. There are three elevations for each plan. The houses feature interior laundry rooms, custom kitchen cabinets and balconies. First move-ins are March 15.

Four furnished models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at 3095 Buckhaven Road in the Gordon Ranch planned community. It is reached from the westbound Grand Avenue exit of Corona (71) Highway.

Homes in Quail Valley

Quail Valley, a 67-unit single-family development designed by Orange County architect Aram Bassenian for Tiffany Properties Inc., opens today in Palmdale.

The first phase consists of 30 three- and four-bedroom houses in five floor plans ranging from 1,700 to 2,468 square feet. The houses are offered in 15 Mediterranean-style exteriors and have master suites with dressing room/bath areas, two and three baths and deluxe kitchens with oak cabinets. First move-ins are scheduled for April.

Front-yard landscaping, with automatic sprinklers, is standard, along with block-wall rear-yard fencing. Five furnished models are open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily at 1740 Briarcliff Way, reached from the westbound Palmdale Boulevard exit of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.

San Diego View Homes

Cabo Santa Fe, a Mediterranean-styled cluster of 42 attached and detached townhouse units by Brock Homes, opens today in extreme northwestern San Diego, adjacent to Del Mar, Solana Beach and Fairbanks Ranch.

The two- and three-bedroom units are offered in four floor plans ranging in size from 2,200 to 2,850 square feetand are priced from $446,950 to $679,950. The first unit has 16 units and first move-ins are scheduled for April.

The development was designed by the La Jolla architectural firm of Naegle Associates Inc. to take advantage of its bluff-side site with views of Del Mar, the Pacific Ocean and Rancho Santa Fe.

The monthly homeowner association fee is $249. Standard features include formal living and dining rooms, a master suite with a fireplace and compartmentalized bath and an interior laundry room.

The sales office is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at 14739 Caminito Vista Estrellado, reached from the eastbound Via de la Valle exit of the San Diego (5) Freeway.
