Films by and about Andy Warhol will be shown at the Newport Harbor Art Museum Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. in conjunction with an ongoing exhibit of the artist’s early work. “Henry Geldzahler” is Warhol’s mid-’60s portrait of the then-influential New York curator, sitting on a couch and smoking a cigar for the 100-minute duration of the film. “Andy Warhol,” with narration by such art and film world figures as Geldzahler, Clement Greenberg, Philip Johnson, Harold Rosenberg, Viva and the late Emile de Antonio, also includes brief excerpts from some of Warhol’s films, notably “Lonesome Cowboys” and “Chelsea Girls.” Admission: $4.50; $3.50 for museum members, seniors and students. Information and reservations: call the museum’s education department at (714) 759-1122.
