Pacific Telesis Group, San Francisco, has named Tony DiStefano president of PacTel Cable, a new subsidiary to manage its foreign and domestic cable television interests. DiStefano formerly was executive director of corporate development for PacTel Corp., working in London on the company’s extensive United Kingdom cable interests.
