Soviet Mine Blast Kills 13

MOSCOW —
Methane gas exploded in a Ukrainian coal mine, and 13 people were killed and 10 were injured, the Soviet news agency Tass reported Thursday. The news agency said the blast occurred Wednesday night at the K.I. Pochenkov mine in the Donetsk coal fields.
