At Least 2 Drown in W. German Floods

STUTTGART, West Germany —
At least two people drowned Thursday and 50 were forced to leave their homes after heavy rain and snow caused flooding in the southwestern state of Baden-Wuerttemburg, police said.
The storms hit the state near its borders with France and Switzerland in the Black Forest region.
