Eichen Receives Tipton Award

Carole Eichen, president and chief designer for Carole Eichen Interiors Inc., Santa Ana, has been awarded the Max Tipton Memorial Award for lifetime achievement by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California.

The presentation was made at the annual MAME (Major Achievements in Merchandising Excellence) award ceremonies at the Disneyland Hotel to recognize excellence in the residential building industry.

Project of the Year winners in four categories included La Paloma at Corona Ranch, Corona, by the Buie Corp./Home Capital Development Group; Avanti, San Diego, by McKellar Communities/Great American Development Co.; La Florentine, San Diego, by McKellar Communities/Glenfed Development, and Sonoma, San Diego, by the Baldwin Co.
