WORLD IN BRIEF : IRAN : Authorities Curtail BBC’s Reportage

Iran said the British Broadcasting Corp.’s correspondent in Tehran will not be allowed to report for the network in retaliation for the expulsion from Britain of nine Iranians on Feb. 8. Britain expelled the nine, including the London bureau chief of Iran’s state radio and television, amid reports that they were linked to a conspiracy to kill Salman Rushdie, author of “The Satanic Verses.”
