Pilot Escapes Jet Crash

WEST BERLIN —
An East German jet fighter crashed during a training flight over Polish territory, but the pilot ejected and suffered no injuries, the East German news agency ADN said. It said the Soviet-made MIG-21 crashed near the Polish-East German border Monday after one of its engines exploded.
