LOS ALAMITOS : Alzheimer’s Patients Sought for Study

Patients with mild Alzheimer’s disease are being sought for a 12-week outpatient drug study to be conducted by the Memory and Behavior Assessment Service at Los Alamitos Medical Center.

Subjects must be otherwise healthy, at least 55 years old and not be taking any medication that affects the central nervous system. The study will include placebos, with some patients receiving a test drug and others not.
