Caesars World Inc.: The Los Angeles-based hotel and casino company said second-quarter profit fell 86% to $1.4 million, primarily because of substantially lower win percentages at its casino operations in Nevada. Revenue totaled $202.9 million, down 5% from the same period a year ago. The company said higher casino payroll and operating costs and higher provisions for bad debts also affected the Nevada results.
